Submission tracking

Last updated 2026-10-22

Short answer

MatchWire records submissions per candidate, job and recruiter, including the vendor contact and rate fields, so the team can see who was submitted where without asking around.

Duplicate and forgotten submissions cost deals. Keeping the record where the match and resume already live gives the team one place to check.

How submission tracking works

Here is what happens, step by step.

  • When a recruiter submits, the submission is recorded against the candidate and the job.
  • Add the vendor contact and the bill and pay rate on the submission.
  • Filter by recruiter, candidate or job to see activity.
  • Admins review submissions across the agency.

A typical day

Two recruiters share a bench. Before sending a consultant to a requirement, one checks the submissions list, sees the consultant already went to that vendor on Tuesday, and picks another opening.

Who uses it

Recruiters who log work and managers who review it.

What it does not do

It is a submission log, not a full vendor CRM. Vendor relationship management and margin reporting are not part of the product today.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace my ATS?

No. It tracks submissions created from MatchWire matches, and many teams keep their ATS or spreadsheet as the system of record.
