The one-paragraph summary
MatchWire is built for IT staffing teams that spend hours each day searching job boards and rewriting resumes. It collects new technical jobs on a schedule, removes duplicates, matches each job to the candidates on your bench using visible rules, and drafts a tailored resume for the matches your recruiters choose. Reports and submission tracking show what the team did. It works alongside the ATS or CRM you already use.
Frequently asked questions
What is MatchWire?
MatchWire is software for IT staffing teams that collects new jobs every 30 minutes, matches them to the candidates on your bench with fixed rules, and drafts tailored resumes for matches a recruiter queues. It is not an ATS or CRM.
Who is MatchWire for?
Staffing agencies, bench sales teams, C2C and W2 vendors and recruiting teams that place IT consultants, from one or two recruiters to larger desks.
Is MatchWire an applicant tracking system?
No. It automates sourcing, matching and resume preparation. Teams keep their ATS, CRM or spreadsheet as the system of record.
Where do the jobs come from?
Job boards, staffing boards and employer career pages on common applicant tracking systems. New jobs are collected every 30 minutes and duplicates are removed.
Does MatchWire use LinkedIn jobs?
Yes, in a limited way. MatchWire does not run its own LinkedIn crawler. Recent public LinkedIn search results (posted in the last 24 hours) arrive through an open-source job search library at a low request rate, alongside the other boards. The Chrome clipper can also read a LinkedIn job page you have open and send it to your queue.
How does matching work?
Each job is checked against each candidate on target titles and primary skill, years of experience, work authorization, excluded skills and contract type. There is no AI score.
Is the matching AI?
No. Matching is rule-based so a recruiter can see why a job appeared. AI is used only to tailor resumes.
What does the AI do?
It drafts a tailored resume from the candidate’s stored work history and the posting’s requirements, after a recruiter queues the match.
Can the AI invent experience?
It writes from the work history in the profile, and recruiters should review every resume before sending it to a client.
Which resume formats are available?
Word (.docx) for the C2C and AI templates and PDF for the classic and professional templates.
Does it support C2C and W2 candidates?
Yes. Each candidate has a contract preference, and matching uses it. Dedicated C2C boards carry fewer postings than general boards.
Does it handle H1B, OPT and EAD candidates?
Work authorization is part of matching. For a candidate who is not a citizen, jobs that require citizenship are excluded. Always read a posting for sponsorship wording before submitting.
How many recruiters can use one account?
Admins add recruiter seats. Recruiters see their own candidates and matches, and admins see the whole agency.
Is my agency’s data separate from other agencies?
Yes. Each agency is its own organization.
What is the Chrome job clipper?
A browser extension that reads the job posting you are viewing on sites such as Dice, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, TechFetch, Glassdoor, Greenhouse and LinkedIn, then matches it to your candidates.
What is the ATS score checker?
A tool that reads an uploaded resume (PDF, Word or text) and returns an ATS-readiness score with specific issues to fix.
Does MatchWire track submissions?
Yes. Submissions are recorded against the candidate and job, with the vendor contact and rates, so the team can see who was sent where.
Does it stop duplicate submissions automatically?
It records and shows submissions so the team can check first. It does not block a repeat on its own.
What reports are available?
An activity summary by recruiter, an applied-matches report that can be exported, and summary statistics.
Does it send hotlists or outreach emails?
No. Hotlist blasts, outreach sequences and a vendor CRM are not part of the product today.
Does it replace Bullhorn, Ceipal or JobDiva?
Not as a system of record. Teams that use one of those tools can run MatchWire alongside it for sourcing, matching and resume preparation.
How do I get more matches for a candidate?
Add more target titles. Matching starts with the title, so common title variants have the biggest effect.
How do I start?
Add candidates with their titles, skills, experience, work authorization and preferences. Matching runs on the next cycle. Book a demo to see it with your own bench.
How is MatchWire priced?
Plans scale with the number of candidates and recruiter seats. Book a demo for current pricing for your team size.
Are the free calculators and templates really free?
Yes. They run in your browser, store nothing and use only the numbers you enter.
