How Chrome job clipper works
Here is what happens, step by step.
- Install the extension and sign in with your MatchWire account.
- Open a job posting on a supported site, including Dice, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, TechFetch, Glassdoor, Greenhouse and LinkedIn.
- The clipper reads the title, company, location and description of the page you are on.
- Review it in the side panel, match it to your candidates and queue a tailored resume.
A typical day
While talking to a vendor, a recruiter finds a Dice posting that looks right. One click on the extension reads the page, shows it in the side panel and matches it against the bench.
Who uses it
Recruiters who also search boards by hand and want those finds in the same queue.
What it does not do
It reads only the page you have open, when you use it. It does not crawl sites in the background.
