Free match test
Give us two consultants. We send back the real matches.
MatchWire runs your two consultants against current open IT jobs and returns the jobs that pass the matching rules, so you judge the product on your own bench instead of a demo.
Short answer
You email the profile details of two consultants. You get back the open jobs that match them, with the rule behind each match. It is free, and nothing is sent to your consultants or to any vendor.
What you send
- Target title or titles, and the primary skill.
- Years of experience and any skills to exclude.
- Work authorization and location or remote preference.
- Contract preference: C2C, W2 or 1099.
What you get back
- The real open jobs that pass the matching rules for each consultant, with the link to each posting.
- For every match, which rule let it through, so you can judge it yourself.
- A short note on anything the rules could not decide, such as a posting that does not state work authorization.
How to read the result
Open five of the matched postings and ask the question you ask every morning: would I submit this consultant to this requirement? If most are yes, the rules fit how your desk works. If some are no, the reason usually sits in one filter, and that is worth knowing before you spend any more time on MatchWire. Matching rules are explained in full on how job matching works. If you want to see where the jobs come from, read the job source guides.
Questions about the match test
What do you need from me?
The profile details of two consultants: target titles, primary skill, years of experience, work authorization, location and contract preference. A resume is not required for the test.
How are the matches chosen?
By fixed rules, not by a model and not by a score. A job either passes the title, skill, experience, work authorization, location and contract checks or it does not. The page on how job matching works lists the filters in order.
Is AI involved?
Not in matching. AI is used only to draft a tailored resume for a match a recruiter chooses to queue, and the recruiter reviews it before anything is submitted. The match test does not generate resumes.
Do you contact my consultants?
No. The test uses the profile details you send. Nothing is sent to consultants, vendors or employers.
Why is it free?
MatchWire is early. Running two consultants against current jobs takes a few minutes, and it is the fastest way for you to judge whether the matches are useful before talking about anything else.
What if the matches are not useful?
Then you have lost ten minutes and you know. Tell us which matches were wrong and why, because every wrong match points at a rule that needs fixing.
